Just watched #TigerWoods on the range here at Augusta National. Warm-up lasted less than 20 mins. Worked from wedges up to driver.

He did NOT MISS A SHOT. Every shot was flushed. Has not lost any speed

Don’t worry about the weather. You’re going to be at one of the most exclusive sporting events in the history of the world. Stand out in the rain and soak it all in. You’re going to have a blast.

Get there early and immediately purchase 2 masters folding chairs apiece, they’re like $35 bucks. Put a business card or something with your name on it in the little plastic pouch on the back then go find the holes you want to watch and put your chairs as close to the green or wherever you want to watch. You can then just come back to the chairs whenever you want after walking around and keep your close greenside spot.

All of this. Definitely grab umbrellas there too with the weather, they are fantastic. Make sure you ship your gear from the store instead of having to carry it around after you purchase everything

Also buy the Scotty Cameron masters putter and head cover since you’ll be there Thursday so they shouldn’t be sold out yet. You’ll be able to re-sell for double.

I went in 2016; they had changed the rules so that each patron could only bring one chair in.

I went in 2019, you can only bring 1 chair in but you can purchase multiple chairs at the pro shop and bring multiple chairs out with you.

But all of the Louisiana boys on here claim Georgia is a shithole.

But you are so right. It's gorgeous in those rolling hills.

Tbf there’s posters on this board that think everywhere is a shithole outside of where they live. It’s all personal preference. Some like mountains, some like beaches, some like swamps. Some like to be in bum frick no where. In my opinion everywhere can have at least something to offer. As someone who travels a lot, there’s good and bad about every place I’ve ever been, but one thing I’ve learned is to never judge a place by what you’ve heard or seen in pictures. I used to do that, but everywhere I’ve been, I have a totally different perspective after actually visiting than my previous thoughts on a place.
