If the course wasn't that difficult in '97, why was Tiger Woods the only one who shot in the 270s for the week? The runner-up shot a -6 and the third place golfer shot a -5 for the tournament.

It wasn't that difficult for Tiger. He drove it farther than everyone else, and there was little to no rough. So he pulled out driver on every hole and just hit it
