The advantage Tiger has over several of these guys is experience. He knows the course. Guys jump out to leads all the time early in tourneys and wilt under pressure and as the course becomes more difficult.

14 year old rookie outplays the defending champion. I swear, only in golf.

At least you didn't just get back from walking around in the woods looking for pieces of fricking tape with numbers on them

"It's obviously not my most favorite place," he said. "But you know, we try to enjoy it as much as we can each time we come here. Sometimes it comes out better than others, but today it was one of those good days. Let's enjoy it while it lasts."

But let's all just admit, if tiger is within striking distance after saturday he is going to have the best shot. He can really make it happen when he needs to.

History says otherwise in your scenario.

Right..

Tiger has to be within striking distance after Friday. Then he makes his move on Saturday and holds people off on Sunday.

In my first post (and second) on this topic I said tiger needs to shoot a 65ish type score tomorrow to have a chance.

As far as Phil winning, I don't care what somebody else does and how far they come from out of the lead, I'm talking about tiger and historically he doesn't come back from this far down. Yes he has done it in the past. But he has also lost to ed the grip fiori. I'm just saying history is on my side and tiger is done. Period.

Some fat dude and Sergio Garcia are at 6 under. They might as well not count. Dustin Johnson is basically your leader with a chance at 5 under. Sure.. Tiger can't make up 3 strokes.

People forget that Sergio and some idiot who has never held the lead in a major jumped out to 1st at -6. They will both come back at some point, just wait. I guarantee you anyone under par is feeling good. This thing is tight there for anyone 3,4, or 5 back. I would be willing to bet that the winner Sunday was at least 3 back after the 1st round.
