On a more serious note, 3 years ago I felt TW was a lead pipe cinch to win at least 19. Today, I don't think so. The new swing isn't working, the fear factor is gone, his short game is in another galaxy, and too many off the course distractions.

Ok but don't pull a peej and believe the fear factor has anything to do with it. Unless u think Padraig won his 3 in 14 months because he scared his competitors.

In years past, if TW was in the lead on Sunday, everybody else was playing for 2nd place. Not the case today. It's bring it big guy.

Just like last week. Still don't know what the fear factor has to do with it. Phil's won 5 majors in the last 10 years without scaring other players. Why can't tiger do that now?

It's not scaring other players ... He was not normal at majors at one time and every body knew it. Now he's just an above avg major player but very very human .. That probably doesn't make sense but my mind is still spinning from defending tiger in an earlier post

He's a top golfer, but very few top golfers win majors with any regularity. Same is to be expected of him at this point.
