What are some of you folks' past bonus amounts?
Or, some folks you know.....

I'm trying to keep myself grounded with expectations when it is revealed this week.

Mileage will vary, based upon many different business factors, including your position within the company.

My wife's bonus last year was just over $24K. Mine? Zero.

I'll just stay out of this thread. Banking bonuses make ot'ers blush.

Some plaintiff's attorneys as well.

Defense attorneys get "screwed" in comparison.

My target is 25% and this year was so good we are at target + 10%. 35% bonus will be the best I have ever received. Just three years ago, I got $0.

My company is such a bunch of assholes that they still haven't even formally released the qualifications for 2014 bonus to us yet. It's fricking December 2nd. How much do you want to bet that they've had finance poring over the numbers coming up with a formula and stipulations that require them to pay the least amount possible?

So your saying your wife spent your bonus on herself?

Target is 10% of base, but my company can choose a funding percentage based on company performance. 2011 and 2012 were in the 80's IIRC, but last year was fully funded. This year will be fully funded as well.

I will be over my target so I'm looking at around 12% of base this year.

I got notified at 5pm I'm getting a six figure bonus and I'm pissed.......it was $100k short of what my profit center equation is but was told my year was an anomaly.

One region lost money, so they are taking the balance of bonus pool and paying out blanket bonuses to "hard working senior managers" who were looking at no bonus.

While I'm glad they avoided the jelly of the month club, frick that noise.

Honestly, it does read as a douche move in posting the thread, but I really was looking for perspective.

I'm not a lucky young buck as I have been chasing the brass ring a while, but think about someone lifting $100k out of your savings, IRA, etc.......I feel violated but do see that this year was weird. I truly am torn.

I do apologize for what appears as a douche thread.

Batman, your reaction helps me keep reality in the headlights.....seriously
