WTI Crude north of $72 today. Where is everybody?

If O&G activity is tied to the rising price of oil, they sure are slow on the uptake. They were very quick to fold up tents on the down-stroke. Why are they still in hiding?

North American Rig count was 470 in 2016. It's +1100 today. It's moving in the right direction, and it's full steam ahead in Texas.

What about for English majors with teaching experience?

A lot of banks are wanting to see returns instead of unrelenting growth.

Companies are seeing it that way as well to keep prices steady.

Geo-side is slow as well, still picking up guys with 5-10 years that got laid off.

I have 6 years of field completions and still can't get an interview anywhere. I'm guessing there is still a lot of laid off engineers out there.

Honest question...do you think the shale plays are truly economical for the majority of these companies? Do the EUR's of the wells actually pay back the drilling, completion and workover costs?

Most Experience in GoM conventionals, fracpacs and a few unconventional completions, and some in South Ark conventional completions.
