Would you try to refinance a 30-year jumbo mortgage currently at 3.375%?

Not sure if there are better rates than that out there currently. We are currently 6 months into our 30-year loan.

No way, doubtful you will ever be able to beat that rate. I didn't even know rates hit that mark in the past

Nope. I am about to close with a jumbo at 3.55% (no points) and I have near perfect credit. I can't see how refinancing yours would be beneficial in any meaningful way.

What kind of brag thread is this. You have a huge house at a better rate than all of us, we get it.

It's not a brag thread by any means. It's the reality of buying a home in the Bay Area. The home is only 1600 sq ft, so I bet it's smaller than 99% of home owners on the Rant and Money Talk, so not exactly brag worthy. The only reason I even mentioned jumbo is because I wasn't sure if rates were different between jumbo and non-jumbo loans.

What a ripoff right? 1600 Sq Ft how did it even appraise to Jumbo level. Just goes to show the banks and appraisers are committing fraud by overvaluing property on the governments dime.
