The losses today seem to be caused by the crude price, at least that is what the analysts are saying. I also think the market has gotten a little ahead of itself the last two days.

I closed some BA shares for a small profit just in case. I cant wait until the fall when the markets won't be so volatile.

Unfortunately think we fall tomorrow and then shoot back up after the oil meeting with russia and saudi arabia.

I sold some earlier today and got lucky that it was at the peak. Like you, I expect a fall for the next couple days but nothing drastic. Hearing anything about the OPEC+ meeting?

Why did the market give up the rally today?

New bad news come out?

Expecting a three month production cut from may to june, 10mil -15mil BPD. It likely won't happen if the US doesn't agree to the cut as well.

It could possibly be expanded passed july.

I actually use SPXS

It's a leveraged bear ETF that returns -300% of the return of SPY.

My portfolio is up over 90% since the Rona started, between playing TVIX and SPXS

IMO it's because we came into resistance (at least on SPY) at 275ish and then oil tanked as the day went on so the market bled off the gains from the open closing at the lows of the day. Usually closing at the lows is an indicator of a down day tomorrow but in this volatile market any news could swing it wildly in one direction or the other.
