AAPL. Bought it in 2013, now with splits and appreciation it's gone up 1,810%. For a while, 40% of Berkshire-Hathaway's value was in Apple stock. It took Morningstar a 3 decades to FINALLY give it a wide-moat designation. Intuit was my next best stock, I sold it all 2 years ago (whew).

Easy to choose MSFT or AAPL for long-hold gains with their stocks or funds with them as holdings, but when I first started investing in the mid-90's it was LUCENT. It was a spin-off of AT&T and had one of those meteoric rises (where thankfully we took some profits), until its sharp decline about 10 years later. Learned quite a bit about the world of investing from owning that stock.

Not sure, but made a lot of money from wmt, aapl, qcom, goog, amat and nvda. I probably made more money from wmt than any other because I had more of my money in it over 25-30 years.
