I don't know that we'll ever see rates in the 2s and 3s again. Maybe I'll be wrong.

We've essentially been living in a free money bubble for 15 years.

Reminds me of a salesman on the beach in Cancun. His opening line was "Almost Free Today." Still makes me smile when I think back.

One is a Verizon bill from 2016 that Jefferson has taken over, and the other is Midland from 2018 from a credit card.

The third one I don’t think will affect me since it’s under $1,000.

How much are these 3 bills?

1386 for Jeff
664 for Mid
1672 for Sun

I may just pay them off. F*ck it.

I can then save up for the 3 percent DP (8600) and get an FHA loan in Jan 2024.

You sound like the perfect DSLD candidate.

Im assuming that guys not making payments and they’re killing him on interest. Probably missed a few months, then let it sit for 6 years in high interest or something

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but nothing will close until these are paid off anyway? They will make you either pay them off before closing or at closing.

I'm just curious who gave you an approval

Also, prequal is just the first part. Then they do a deep dive.

Yeah, that is what I remember. A few days before my last closing is when they told me I had $216 from ATT for Uverse where I forgot to send back the equipment, etc..

I just paid it at closing.

No way you get all the way through closing with those 3 being that large.

FHA may be your better bet but man, your rate still gonna be tough as a pair of cowboy's nuts.

Or just refinance when the rate dips into the 4s. Not everyone can wait years and years for the perfect financial situation.
