The S&P 500 Index closed at a new 2023 high today at 4,198.05.

The previous closing high for 2023 was reached on February 2 @ 4,179.76.

The closing low for this year was on January 5 at 3,808.10.

The S&P 500 Index closed 12/31/22 at 3,839.50. So the index is up 9.34% year-to-date.

And inflation is 5%. Your getting the same deal you were getting with 1% CD’s when inflation was 1%.

Yeah my 401k is up 14.5% this year. The accounts that I manage are up 18%. I'll take the risk and stay in the market. I don't need the money for 15+ years.

Peso appreciated nearly half a penny to the USD in two years!
