I would expect him to be net negative. He’s been in office less than 2 months. How quickly is the guy supposed to audit the entire government and apparently is a shite fit if he tries anything to make money elsewhere. I mean he’s trying to see about erasing trade deficits. Tariffs can be retracted. I’m willing to let the guy try. There is serious budget savings just in the pentagon alone which he just mention DOGE is about the hit. The pentagon fails audits by damn near a trillion every year. Let the guy try and see if we can get even for a bit. I mean this is like trying to come in and restructure the most fricked up failing company of all time. It’s supposed to be just flip a switch and be done in the first month?

So you weren’t alive when Clinton was president? I’m no fan of Clinton but he did reduce the debt.

lol Trump was successful at riding the economy he inherited in 2017 - things were good, not great, when Covid hit. Hell, GDP growth never even hit 3% in a year under Trump 1.0.

The statement was made that the national debt hasn’t been reduced yet about 25 years ago it was. Let’s not let facts get in the way of things.

Instead of having someone from China who gets paid $2 an hour to make it, we can now pay a baw $20 to do so.

Not sure how the consumer wins here.

Money Talk board: who cares if your kids and grandkids have a viable country in the decades to come, my short-term stonk performance is all I care about.

Dude the cost of the labor on these cars will skyrocket and will come directly from the consumers pocket.

Buy and build American or we will collapse as a country. We can only sustain and profit off the backs of cheap goods produced by horrific foreign slave labor for so long.
