Yea I had thrown $5K in Carnival, $5K in Norwegian, and $5K in Boeing. I got out of Boeing down like $150 and am now raking in FSLY. Still treading water in the two cruise but expect to make about double my money. Just need them to start up again. I am definitely looking to get back in Boeing but I am trying to bide my time making money elsewhere in this red hot tech market. I just cannot see an movement but down in BA until November.

LVGO 139.50 after hours (new high)
TDOC spent the whole day red, now up $6.00 after hours
ROKU held 162 to the close which is a major upper resistance area. that is most excellent news. i will be disappointed if it doesnt hit 175 prior to wednesday

Man I bought at 108. Sold at 112 to free up cash for FSLY.
Regret not holding and digging cash up elsewhere.

Cgrand do you still feel good about Ontrak? All of the other telehealths are rising, its having a down period.

it’s still a baby.
they just re-tickered in July
See what happens when they report on Wednesday.
also if LVGO reports what I think they will, their peers should rise. I don’t think that genpop realizes what a seismic change is taking place in healthcare. We are not going back to the doctor visit when we have problems model. This change to automated AI managed self care is the future

one day your children will tell their children about making a dr appt months in advance and waiting in a lobby for two hours to see the dr for three minutes, and they will have the same reaction as if you showed them a rotary telephone

My only concern with TDOC, which I regretfully sold way too early, and LVGO are that a lot of EMRs have their own integrated telemedicine platform. And the ones who don’t, will all eventually have one as well. So while it is the future, when the option is there for patients to do telemedicine visits with their PCP versus a random doctor, will the current giants lose market share? That’s the only thing that’s held me back from investing heavily in this sector.
I’ve probably thought too much about it and lost out on some big gains.

Anyone have anything on BABA? Everything I read seems like they should be good. ER is upcoming on the 13th and should kill it.

here’s the thing.
you are data. Your medical records are data. Your self care regimen is data. And data gathering for good and ill is what this is all about.
what difference will it make to a generation of young adults whether or not they check in with the same doctor each time when their vitals and medical histories are readily available on the database? When they are given regular updates of how they are doing and what they could be doing? When they are being offered a personalized self care program with instant access to their status?
wouldn’t you like to know, in an instant, if you have a chronic condition what your readings are? Wouldn’t you like regular check ins and check ups without the bullshite of a doctors office? Using the super computer you hold in your hand?

Familiarity and credibility goes a long way. There’s also only so many things a physician can do for you on a telemedicine visit. Eventually these patients will still have to come in whether it’s for labs, imaging, or physical checkup. I hear that complaint all the time from the doctors at our offices. With that said, as you specifically mentioned the younger generation, what you said rings true as well. Many of them don’t care about that aspect but will still have to establish a PCP for instances that a telemedicine visit can’t help. Then when they realize that same local PCP offers the same service, then what?
It will be interesting once all this covid stuff ends and telemedicine visits are fully integrated into every clinics existing EMR. In the mean time, I’m enjoying the LVGO ride with you guys. And like I said before, maybe I’m just thinking too much as well.

Having cut the cord five years ago, I won't watch anything that has commercials in it except a live college football or basketball game that isn't available any other way.

I would be curious to know what % of the population regularly sees their PCP. IMO if you make checking in with your doctor as simple as opening an app on your phone it will revolutionize healthcare in our country. Once you have everyone checking in regularly you layer in things like bloodwork and other diagnostics and start monitoring all that data and all of a sudden you are in the prevention and mitigation category which is a complete game changer. Add in gene sequencing possibilities based off this data and you are possibly extending lives by years.
The great thing about LVGO specifically and why I like it much more than a TDOC is that it is already at this data collection/prevention/mitigation stage which is very difficult for someone to replicate. IMO it is much easier for LVGO to add in the PCPs and become the all-in-one telehealth app.
I think deep down people want to know they are healthy but there are a lot of roadblocks standing in the way.
Young people are moving much more than ever before. Gone are the days where you spend your entire life in one city with one doctor. Your health data has to travel with you and someone (a computer) needs to interpret that data to do what is needed.
