The thanks was not for you but for cml. A site that gives investment advice. They blew this one big time. Seems like they were lucky like cathy woods last year but this year not so hot

Quick question. Why won’t fidelity let you buy and sell a stock in the same day? It makes you wait 2 days after I buy to let me sell the stock. I don’t want a margin account but is that the only way to buy and sell the same stock the same day?
I do not use Fidelity but why can you not do that in a cash account? Generally you can buy and sell. And if you have unused cash that’s already cleared, you can buy and sell that portion as well.

Haha, gotcha. I think I'm getting too used to the passive aggressive bullshite on reddit.
Yeah, it had a good day today and I think it keeps going at least for a little bit longer since a few of the bigger brokerages didn't do well with the ticker change today (Schwab/Fidelity).

CML Labs owned by Ophir Gottlieb. Ophir is an excellent stock picker. Growth stocks have been taken to task to prove their valuations and some of Ophir’s companies are struggling right now, and people are lashing out.

I subscribe. I was overexposed in the growth and moved some to gas and oil once Biden started screwing us over.
I still enjoy his reads and hold multiple of his growths that have done me well and have great potential in my opinion.

Etsy Inc. on Wednesday said it agreed to buy Depop, a privately held fashion marketplace, for $1.63 billion, making a large bet on the booming market for secondhand goods.
Etsy said the deal, consisting mainly of cash, gives the Brooklyn, N.Y., online marketplace access to Depop's younger, fashion-conscious audience. Depop's gross merchandise sales and revenue both more than doubled last year, to about $650 million and $70 million, respectively.
London-based Depop, founded in 2011, has a community of roughly 30 million registered users across nearly 150 countries, with 4 million active buyers and 2 million active sellers in 2020, Etsy said. About 75% of Depop's sellers are also buyers, a figure that leads the resale industry, Etsy Chief Executive Josh Silverman said during a call about the acquisition Wednesday.
Many Depop sellers begin by listing items from their own wardrobes, Mr. Silverman said, using the app like "today's version of the paper route."

At this point I'm long.
I first got in around $30 and held until around $65 where unloaded only to watch it keep going to $100.
This dip was a blessing for me to be able to enter where I had once exited so I'm sitting tight on my shares for the foreseeable future. I find it hard to believe it would drop anymore than it already has so I'm comfortable just letting it sit and watching it.

On point with another regurgitated headline
If overall market was up today, headline would be "Traders shrug off inflation fears after upbeat data, markets rally to near all time highs"
It's comical how easy it is to predict. Count on financials and energy to continue to dominate this summer. Easy plays on the economic strength of reopening.
The Fed tapering talks and "inflation fears" will continue to weigh down growth stocks, imo. Once the Fed does announce they will taper before than expected, growth might go nuclear, but most downside will probably be priced in at that time. Make sure to have some cash once that dip happens, though.

Only reason I'm not loading up on energy right now is I'm already too heavy in that sector and need to balance.
