The revenue growth is nice but that is only sustainable as long as the user base continues to grow and remain active. The user base is the most important component
ETA the guidance was the best part (revenue not users). The yoy revenue was below that 80% magic number that seems to drive the initial reaction. Add in the continued trend of lower US MAUs and you have it falling.

from the release
PINS will be PINS!!!! if and only if they become what the chinese version of tiktok is...a virtual shopping bazaar. their partnership with SHOP is the driver, and the international user numbers are what will make or break this thesis
again, my opinion.
US MAU's arent the brass ring

Would Pinterest be a good buy if it keeps dropping like it is? Sorry again for the dumb question but I'm just trying to learn
I added to my position at around $67. Median price target is over $92.

just depends what you value more, huge user growth or huge user spend growth. For me they are still such a young company I’d rather see huge user growth

Humana To Buy Remaining Stake In Kindred’s Homecare Business
Nice setup for an ER beat tomorrow morning.
quote:
The deal calls for Humana to buy the remaining 60% interest in Kindred at Home from TPG Capital and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe “for an enterprise value of $8.1 billion, which includes Humana’s existing equity value of $2.4 billion associated with its current 40 percent minority ownership interest,” the companies announced Tuesday afternoon.
Nice setup for an ER beat tomorrow morning.

“We now know that Pinterest’s integration is now live to all Shopify merchants in the U.S and Canada which means the e-commerce hose has been turned on for Pinterest.
The company sits in a special place for advertisers in that it is image, search, and e-commerce driven with no negativity surrounding the ‘social’ part.” Ophir
Yes please.

I’m probably throwing more at PINS in the morning. Certainly wild to see a 10 percent drop. It’s gonna be triple digits this year IMO.

We’ll probably get some new PT’s in the next few days, so it will be interesting to see what those analysts think.

Don’t they already have like 97 million American Monthly Active Users? At some point you run out of people that fit the demographic. I just downloaded the app and honestly probably won’t open it again. That’s not a bad thing, I’m an investor and I’m not the target market, but it’s only going to be for a certain group of people. Monetizing those should be the focus I’d think. Pinterest has to have different growth prioritizes than say, Facebook

OPRX has been coiling recently under an overall sustained uptrend.
I’m setting an alert in case it breaks out.

There's been some conversations on FSLY before. What are everyone's thoughts on it back around $68?

That was so disappointing. Made me concerned for the Ford ER today. I can't have that one drop too.

New PT's are all over the place as you would expect, but none say sell. Growth may slow, but it still has terrific growth potential.
