Yep, been holding F for over a decade and finally paying dividends. And VIAC has been the stalwart of my portfolio lately. Up over 300% since the pandemic started. Keep telling myself I'm going to sell it as it was never a long term hold, but hard to do it when it's green every day even in a sea of red.

Why will it be at 40 next week?

Yeah, it was bumpy this week, but today finished strong. Looks like risk is back on so we may see a rip upward next week.

However, tech is kind of a wildcard for me. Not sure if it's totally reversed yet. It might have further to go down.

Is anyone else still messing with OZSC? I picked up 12k shares early in the week to get in ahead of some big PRs and that bitch wouldn't move an inch

Wow, that stock’s on a tear. What’s your strategy with that one, raise the stop each week?

QQQ closed over the 50 day
that’s encouraging...I think the bottom is past. Honestly it needs to re base here for a few weeks

It is. After the big tech rallies this week, it stabilized today. A lot of them perfectly retested their 200 ema through the dip.

It's going to be interesting how the market reacts with the economy reopening story in regards to tech since they were the huge benefactors of the pandemic. I could really see it going either way.

1. Assuming yields stabilize, tech continues upward as growth is still a major play.

2. Yields still rise with a reopening economy, tech is overinflated from the huge run during the pandemic lockdown and sells off more/stagnates for weeks.

I think, overall, #2 is more likely in the near/mid term due to the bull run in 2020, but it will be choppy until it finds its base.

It will give me pause if tech ends up rallying to their ATH shortly after this dip, but if momentum is there, I'm going to trade it.

How will stimulus influx of cash affect markets or has it already been priced in?

I would bet it’s priced in. It was expected, as was the amount.

It’s got a lot of the groundwork done. Hold and be happy there.

You cannot price in the largest injection of new money to ever hit the economy. There is literally millions of people with $1400 checks putting all or some of that money into stocks and crypto.

if that’s the case then the 1400 bucks wasn’t “needed” and this treasury giveaway isn’t due to any “emergency”.

and if that’s the case, I want my fricking 1400 bucks.

it still amazes me that smart people are OK with means testing for shite like this but when you mention means testing for Social Security benefits they reach for the panic button

Now my strategy is to hold. Originally I bought as dumb luck when I stumbled upon an article/analyst who said it was a buy under $20 during the beginning of the pandemic. I forgot the exact reasons, but I posted here in this thread I’m pretty positive.

I’ve trimmed some since then, but cost basis still $23.

I can’t see buying or selling here, but will be more inclined to buy than sell at this point.

Yes, I only have a few shares, but I'm also curious why it might jump to $40.
