Contemplating some pins 2/5 calls

I will believe that 4Q earnings for FSLY ROKU PiNS SQ SE TDOC NET ETSY will be blowout until I see otherwise. All you can do is bet on good companies with rising revenues

People ask me what’s my favorite season?
Earnings.
Earnings.

Been looking forward to Thursday for a long time now. I’ve been accumulating PINS since October.

The recent trend as been stock prices falling even with good earnings.

the trend is also that the falls are short term and over the longer term prices rise over their pre earnings price.
so...we win and those who either buy and hold pre or buy the post earnings dip both come out ahead

big fat nothing burger...healthy pullback
Yes I would be more concerned had the indices not gone down considering the week we just had.

We’ll probably see more volatility this week culminating in another nothing burger.
Everyone’s talking about GME and earnings, while some option traders are probably making/losing millions on these daily swings.

Clover health is interesting
GoodRX and DRIO are two more
if TDOC gets to 300 I’m gonna trim and get into one or more of those.

Here a few more that I have bought over the last year PAR, SMLR, UPWK, EGHT and ICHR. These are fast growing companies that I will take profits on sometime this year---I have owned most long enough to qualify for long term gain tax treatment. (SMLR is a very interesting buy as it is really a large cash producer. I expect it to be bought out.)
Some longer term stocks for me that I like are APG and NWL.
APG was SPAC I suppose but was started by the guy that built Jarden and sold it to NWL. He is very good capital allocator. He has bought some service companies in the construction business in APG like fire sprinkler system companies and made good deals when he bought them.
NWL I bought after they got in trouble from taking on so much debt for Jardin. Carl Icahn bought in and replaced a lot of the board. They are coming out of a turn around and are priced too low. Dig through the one time crap and they will have earnings of $1.70 this year and trade for $24. I expect earnings to be near $2 next year as the new CEO has really done a lot to eliminate cost and restore growth. They have great brand in their portfolio.
I am positioning in WFC as they seem cheap to me. This is a bank that made $5 just a few years ago trading at $30.

I have a small position in CLOV and a large position in AG. May add to both this week. Good luck to everyone this week.

implied volatility based on options premium for PINS earnings call is over 18%...that scares me some
regardless, it’s holding 68 pretty solidly thru all the forced selling this past week. I’d be careful here on OTM calls, I’d rather just own the stock and ride this out. Call is after the close on Thursday and we’ve seen what fridays are like lately with all the speculating
Earnings will be good, that’s all I care about

GOGO and NVTA both catch a downgrade, interesting but not especially surprising. NVTA continues to burn cash and struggle with COVID but I have high conviction
I ordered one of NVTAs saliva test kits last week and sent it back Friday. Very easy and straightforward. When I get the results back I’ll share what it looks like

What is gogo and why have you been on top of that? Not a slight just generally curious. Seeing if I should invest or not
