some interesting TDOC/LVGO news
quote:
After Teladoc’s massive merger with Livongo, several of the digital health startup’s top leaders will depart. Livongo President Dr. Jennifer Schneider, who held a public role with the company, and often shared her dual perspectives as a physician and on her experience with type 1 diabetes, will leave the company. So will CEO Zane Burke, who joined the company last year after serving as a longtime Cerner executive, CFO Lee Shapiro and Senior Vice President of Business Development Steve Schwartz, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
It’s not clear what they have planned next, but some of Livongo’s leadership recently teamed up with General Catalyst to create a new special purpose acquisition company, with the goal of raising $500 million to take a healthcare company public. In recent months, a spate of digital health companies have gone public after being acquired by SPACs, including direct-to-consumer health startup Hims & Hers.

Imo...We have a good chance at a relief squeeze higher here with more pain likely after.

Well...hopefully it isn't too much selling to hold. I would feel better if it retested around today's low and rebounds again.

Hopefully they have home run earnings report later because there trading at a high valuation still. Market likely won't be kind if they miss.

I bought FSLY at 71.72 today. I think earnings are mostly baked in based on early guidance they provided.

Hope so...they were trading around 50x sales yesterday.

Current year maybe. I think 2021 is around 35x.

I am so tempted to buy a few of covid stocks in FVRR and TDOC again, but I don't think the drop off is done.

I think like 2 friday's ago I had PENN at 27%. Thought hard about selling it, and didn't pull the trigger. Paid for that big time.

Tomorrow AMD is revealing their new RX 6000 (Big Navi) GPU's. In the past they've never been able to compete with Nvidia when it comes to the high end of the GPU market. Rumors are that the new cards will go toe to toe with Nvidia and will be priced very competitively with Nvidia. After seeing how Nvidia priced their latest release of GPU's, it appears they believe there is some credence to the rumors.
If the benchmarks provided by AMD today are accurate they are about to shake up the GPU market. Their cards are now right on par with NVDA when it comes to the top end, and most of the cards are cheaper than the competitor counterpart, especially the 6900XT ($999) vs 3090 ($1500). They’ve also added a feature that allows computers that have the newest AMD CPU’s and GPU’s paired to hit a level of performance.
If they can have a successful launch and not get instantaneously scalped by bots like NVDA was then there could be a major shift.

AMD has really trumped Intel of late. My current machine is a 12 processor, 4 ghz which I built for $2300 (including NY tax). It could have been a 32 processor machine for about $5k. It's an extreme amount of power for not much money. The processors are rock solid too.
I've used NVDA since before it was NVDA. It will be interesting to see how aggressive AMD's GPU's are on price. NVDA doesn't have the big premium that Intel had when it when it used to enjoy a performance edge.
Today, I feel like a skinned cat trapped in a car wash.

I just built my trading computer about a month ago also...running an AMD 3900x.
Half price of what I could have purchased one for.

I think a lot of us feel like that about Fastly. I went from up 80% to -%10, or something like that.
I had Draftkings at a great number but sold wayyyyy too early.
