an article I read an analyst cited

-lack of disposable income of those most likely to gamble on site

-sports fans don't actually like the games in big stadiums without fans, less likely to watch a 3 1/2 game

So far DKNG filled the gap almost to the penny. Watch out for October 20th.

$PINS Pinterest shares are trading higher after Wells Fargo maintained its Overweight rating on the stock and raised its price target from $40 to $52 per share.

Earnings days have me more concerned that excitement. I don't think a lot of companies will do as well as the ongoing talk/rumors are saying.

If the August earnings are any indication, there will be a sell off in many of these high growth tech stocks even if they kill earnings.

All I know is there is a lock-up expiration on 10/20 and supposedly millions of shares will be freed up to sell if they choose to do so. I would take that into consideration when you manage your position if you have one. Here is a link to an article mentioning it.

The timing of the earnings (everything late Oct and early Nov) is bad with the election right there as well.

I don't feel good about it.

I need to get everything into TD Ameritrade and out of the application I am currently using, so this might be a good opportunity.

Can't remember all the details because that week was the LVGO/TDOC bloodbath (and I drank a lot to get through that) but if I remember correctly ROKU, DDOG, ETSY, FSLY, and several others had sell offs after earnings. There was such an insane run up to earnings, that it wasn't overly surprising.

Yea, I am eager to start over with a new trading platform because the one I have sucks. I can easily see most of the high growth stocks I have taking a short term hit, so I am going to cash out throughout next week and start over with TD Ameritrade. I've made about 5K with 28K invested in a few months. I'm happy with that. Like I said, it's a perfect time to switch over. My hooks aren't in too deep yet.

You don't need to cash out to change companies. They will do it for you. There may be a fee depending on how much $
