Yeah this is play money that I took out of Acorns and put into a TDA account, so I've been willing to take risks. Started with $2K in April and haven't added to it, currently over $11K. I was at $8k going into summer earnings and dropped to $5k and was up and down until early September.

so you think something less than positive may be announced Monday regarding LVGO and possibly TDOC?
I bought a good amount of 10/30 call options for TDOC at Friday's close

just the opposite
volume dried to a trickle THU/FRI, could mean buyers waiting for an update Monday. The joint panel is the first time the two CEOs have been interviewed together and the stakes are pretty high considering the market reaction in August

I think they are going to juice the proceedings with some good forward looking news.

nty of chatter about an industry event Monday. Both CEOs will appear on a panel together to discuss the merger and update status, future efforts, etc. speculation that they’ll pre release some 3Q earnings guidance. Volume in LVGO in particular has been less than half of average the past two days something could be brewing

I really believe in these companies as I think telehealth is big in the future. I do understand the concerns about doctors dropping it because it’s so cheap. My copay went from $40 to $8. Not sure how much they are losing on anything else. Either way, I see this moving forward and being big.

I’ve cleared out some room. Looking hard at the following. Just bought Slack a few days ago right about the same time as cgrand.

1 of 3 solar companies:
DQ (196)
BE (23)
ENPH (109)

Let me know what you think, or if there might be something better. Solar seems to be taking off so a decision needs to probably come soon.

TCEHY
BIDU
TSM
TWLO
ZS
CRM (Salesforce)
5g semiconductor co. (MRVL, QCOM, SKWS)

I wish I had more money to build a personal 5G ETF. Would like to add American Tower, Crown Castle REITs)

Let me know if these are bad ideas.

if you go big on solar you want biden to win. Politics aside it’s the desired outcome. Personally I’m a tree hugger and I’d like to profit from alternative energy so I’ll be researching along with you

I just got a buyer on my boat so I have a chunk of new change coming shortly. it’s time to get aggressive IMO and take some risk

think less about the actual doctor interaction via video and more about the data collection and AI influenced coaching as it pertains to eventual outcomes (and cost).

check out the link to the article I posted earlier. This is about digitizing the healthcare experience

Im not putting in any more money until after the election but I will probably move some around this week. About as heavy as I’m going to go on WKHS and DCHP, but probably going to dump half my Sasol while I can still make $2/share profit and put it somewhere else.

Also thing something 5G related would be smart but haven’t done enough research yet on anything to give a halfway educated opinion. If anyone has any thoughts on the companies he listed, I’d be interested in hearing about it too.

My gut tells me it’s going to be a down week so I don’t plan on buying anything early. But that’s only based on how well last week went. I just don’t know enough about this game to feel very confident in anything I do and damn sure can’t be offering any valuable advice.

I’m not getting all the 5G talk. It’s played out, and to be honest if you really wanna go balls deep in 5G just bet the house on Qualcomm.

I think in a general sense, you're correct in that it's not going to be some massive explosion. For the most part, it's the same companies that are already selling 4G stuff. So, they're just going to make new money selling 5G stuff and phase out the 4G.

I think where the growth potential lies, however, is in the scale. 5G will be much more than phones and tablets. You've seen it some with 4G, but 5G bandwidth capabilities will allow for many more uses than 4G. 5G should allow for homes and businesses to use it for internet service rather than traditional copper or fiber.

I keep going back and forth on what to do with SSL. Why are you thinking this is the ceiling? It was at $18/share in January.

Anyone know why cloudflare is up 10% this morning? I mean, I'm not complaining at all but I don't see anything to justify it

Im keeping an eye on AYX... stock dropping because of class action lawsuit I think? If this looks like just a one day blip I definitely want to jump in with 1 month calls to ride earnings date momentum
