Doctors and nurse practitioners are often on call
It doesn't matter if they are Dr's, NP's or PAC's, if face to face pays twice as much they will be trying to bring patients in. It is already happening, it is not a guess. This can change, especially with an administration change. You do realize that a lot of practices are run by NP's and PA's, they don't even have a Dr on staff?

Insurance companies are paying half as much for a tel-med visit as they are for a face to face with most Dr's. Many Dr's cannot preform a visit without vitals and some have to have patients in clinic (PT's etc). There is room for growth but it is not looking as bright as it was.
I used to pay $40 for a monthly visit. It now costs $9.

That is your co-pay and changes with your plan.
Edit: Or are you talking about compared to face to face visits?

My co-pay of face-to-face (40) vs. telehealth (9)

Yes, i understand clinic’s can have nurse practitioners running the show. When I say on call, I’m referring to after hours and weekends. A billable telehealth visit is advantageous at that time.

Wow, even less than half. It changes depending on the specialty.

I really should have bought more FVRR. Dear lord.

Absolutely but there are still after hour clinics. If you read my original post I do think that there is room for growth for Tele-Med. However, 3 months ago we were thinking that Tel-Med was going to take the place of face to face visits and at least for now it looks like there are speed bumps slowing that down. I think it is a decent long term play. Watch legislation, if things change with ins payments there could be a big swing.

I swung and missed on that one...
Still a buy??

I don't know. The day it goes red for a day or so I am buying more. It's closing in on PENN as by best investment and I just bought it on Sep 10. Up 30%.
I think I read where they are operating in like 150 countries.

I am taking a strong look at DQ. Will have to read more. I thought it was dairy queen or something.

Lol, I did too when it was first recommended to me... I am no guru and might put a couple of hours a week into research total. Let me know your thoughts, I am interested in feedback from some of you more studied guys on it.

This is such a weird and confusing day. My gut is telling me to sit back and just watch for now

Think I would be hesitant to buy a Chinese solar company. I think the best solar play would have been buying ENPH when the short report came out a couple months ago and it tanked but even that strategy comes with a ton of risk.
Solar is an interesting space right now. Obviously huge demand. I have personally put up large solar systems in a number of buildings, there are legit concerns over the product quality and long term viability. Being completely honest the only reason we do it is bc most often the solar companies replace our roofs.

Something just happened and everything dropped a little.

It’ll bounce around based on good and bad news snippets surrounding the ongoing stimulus talks.

I am a hold with a fairly strong position. I am playing with house money at this point however. I think a change in the white house would give this a push whether deserved or not but it is doing well enough under this administration to hold.

DQ up another 7.5% for those watching.

Can’t decide whether to sell my 150 November call or keep riding the wave.
