COVID has them artificially inflated. Gonna wait and see where they end up after COVID and the insurers cut reimbursement on telemed and resume highly restrictive rules on it's use. They are part of the future of medicine, but time will tell if some of these changes become permanent or we revert back to pre-COVID rules.

Insurance companies are paying half as much for a tel-med visit as they are for a face to face with most Dr's. Many Dr's cannot preform a visit without vitals and some have to have patients in clinic (PT's etc). There is room for growth but it is not looking as bright as it was.

Doctors and nurse practitioners are often on call. Instead of answering the phone and simply advising and/or directing their patients to a hospital, they can setup a televisit and charge something. Additional revenue.
