I have to agree. Hell we can run cardiac enzymes, CBC, chemistry, LA, Coags etc now on little more blood than is needed for a glucose check with I-Stat machines. The cost of those will go down exponentially in the future

I think broadly speaking the role the doctor/rn plays will increase substantially it is just going to be in a much different way.

TDOC is trading now at 196, based on the formula LVGO should be 127. its trading now at 123

My plan is to hold TDOC LT. My old plan was to hold both TDOC and LVGO LT. I bought more TDOC the other day instead of LVGO because I didn't want more of a tax hit when I get the $11.33 for each of my Livongo shares later this year.

I may or may not be investigating an auto venipuncture system. Imagine in 25 years an auto venipuncture system shows up at your door a day or two before your tele appointment. It takes your sample and gets it to the lab so your results are available before your tele conference with your doctor.

And that little machine gets cleaned at the lab and sent to somebody else the same day (over and over).

and we wonder why America is getting fat. We can't even get off our asses to go to get blood work anymore.

TRVN, Trevana

They just had a new opiate (Olinvyk) with very good pain control and very rapid onset of action approved.

The company needed to raise money so they issued a new stock offering yesterday that will close tomorrow. The offering price is $2.30 but shares today are going for fractionally higher.

A large number of the buyers are institutional, which I view as a pretty bullish indicator, even with a biopharmaceutical.

When the offering closes tomorrow the price will probably come up a bit. This could be viewed as a chance to buy in for a long term hold or a short-term flip.

It looks reasonable to me as a small gamble so I bought some but you should do your own due diligence.

Why DDOG is moving - Datadog shares are trading higher as traders circulate unconfirmed chatter that Salesforce made an offer to acquire the company in an all-stock transaction.

Let's ride!

And hopefully on a rocket ship and not a dead turtle like TDOC/LVGO

A study conducted by Interpublic Group’s Magna Global and IPG Media Lab with Roku found that video ads on Roku’s over-the-top platform were 67% more effective than ads on linear TV. Campaigns for IPG clients Applebee’s, H&M, McCormick and Truvia saw bigger gains in purchase intent running ads with Roku. The study also found that consumers consider brands that run video ads on the Roku platform to be twice as innovative as traditional linear TV alone.

Any of you Chinese stock fans have thoughts on the Tencent/Huya/Douya situation? Esports in China is a cash cow and Huya has seen some monsterous growth. Tencent is the puppet master here, but Huya and Douya combining could own the esports streaming market in China.

Though I don’t own any of the ARK funds, I’m a big fan of them. ARKK and ARKW have been stockpiling HUYA recently.

LVGO/TDOC

they are moving together now over the past few trading days, which is what should be happening. There is still a bit of arbitrage opportunity based on the buyout terms in LVGO which i still don’t understand how it’s happening (LVGO should be higher based on TDOC current price)

still heavily long on these two and still optimistic

The LVGO interview on CML was definitely everything you would imagine about the potential. LVGO was going to be a beast just with the US market, TDOC bringing international in to play sooner than expected is pretty big for growth. I'm pretty close to getting back in.

Unrelated note, NVDA and SQ just keep climbing today.
