Still waiting on fed refund after a month...

I checked on the IRS refund and it says still processing. My original expected date was 4/10. Got the state refund on that day.
Is this typical? Should I be patient?

If it still says "processing", why would you even assume that something is wrong and that you shouldn't be patient?

Fed refund took a week for me. State took a month.

I did mine through turbo tax, got both back within like 5 days

I’ve been waiting for mine over 2 months. They sent me a letter last month requesting info. My cpa sent off that and we’re still waiting. Status still says pending.

Glad I'm not the only one. My fed went out 2/9- got request for proof of insurance a month later- nothing since then.

Funny you say that. When I clicked on this thread, I was like, damn, all these people must have states that process quickly.
Ive always been an Illinois resident even when I was in the military and living elsewhere. It always takes Forever to get back Illinois State. Fed we've never had a problem with, but Illinois state refunds are always months after.

I mean what are you going to do? Call the IRS and be on hold for an hour or two only to have them tell you it’s processing?
