Southeast Toyota Dealer, trouble getting a specific truck

Saturday morning I agreed to terms on the purchase of a new truck. Problem is, that truck is not in stock at the dealer I'm working with and here we are Wednesday and the last update I've gotten is that "we're still waiting to hear back from the other dealer on whether or not we can get the truck"
Anybody ever dealt with Toyota folks in a similar situation? I was very happy with the terms of the deal-possible they had seller's remorse, or at the very least wanted to hold out for something better?
Any reason at all it should take this long just to figure out whether or not the truck is accessible?

This is normal esp if its a Tacoma.
Dealers normally get sticker on those.

Very normal, sometimes it is easy sometimes it is not.
I see you're an Auburn fan are you purchasing in Alabama? Which dealership?

Happened with me with my Tundra. I had to wait about 6 days for them to find and get what I wanted. Be patient.
