With the short interest so high, how do these positions ever close? As long as buying interest is high, price goes higher no?

It gets very violent for the shorts once their hand is forced. I thought $1k was a meme at first but is definitely very much a reality, but whats crazy is it still has room to run past that.

I’ll see what happened today and possibly Thursday. Probably just under $900 is where I’ll sell if it squeezes up there. The amount of people bailing at $1k on the dot will cause a dip, IMO

Depends what the margin maintenance is. It's really high on highly volitale stocks and I've never seen one more volitale than this in recent years.

Damn I was just playing around with my Robin Hood. I have margin money, but none available for GME. At least they do instant transfers. Saving up to buy daughter a car. About to put all that on black, I mean GME. It goes up she gets a better car. I lose it.... well she can have my truck then. Lol
