Never again.
I got back in again right before 5 on after hours. About to go to my Webull I can trade to 8 there.
The shite thing is money has to settle if your not using margin.

Lol oh yea. Buying gamestock at $215 a share after it’s increased more than 10 fold in less than a month sounds real enticing.

This has absolutely nothing to do with GameStop. They just so happened to have been chosen as the battlefield

Has nothing to do with the stock itself.
This is a war against a hedge fund (several, actually) that massively overleveraged itself on a short position and the entire internet caught them with their pants down.

Correct. Everyone knows the stock is worth $15/share. This is about making them eat the stock all the way to bankruptcy.

Disagree. Theres a lot of evidence the stock is worth more
But not $100 or $200

I'm betting it gaps up tomorrow
Posted on 1/26/21 at 5:54 pm to eScott
Technically any gains between market close and market open result in a gap, so yea it probably will considering it’s up 50% since close

Doh! I trade so much after hours I wasn't thinking.
When GME was at $43 I looked at to $60 calls trading around $3.40, thought about buying and didn't.

All the fundamentals told these hedge fund guys it made sense to short it..then the mentals are showing them otherwise. Stocks don’t trade on fundamentals so much anymore..

I sold and took the 1500. Will check things out tomorrow. Not terrible since I bought in at 4:30

Not related, but I've been killing it on in and out of the money Macy's calls. The contracts are really cheap so you can get a lot. I see people talking about getting into options. I like staying with F (Ford) as it's the cheapest. (Plus you can condor them at times too)
I dont' know anything about macy but what you really need to focus on with options is the volume for the stock and the open interest for the option call you want to buy. Obviously you should be looking at the greeks, but don't forget about IV. When I looked at the IV for GME like yesterday I think it was at 500-600, which is absolutely bonkers. Never seen one over 200 and even when TSLA was doing its thang a while back I only saw it at 180 or so.

This stock is more exciting than betting on horses or going to the boats.

Just got paid a big sum by my bookie and wanting to play along with you boys. Funds won't hit my account until earliest Thursday but I'm betting Friday. Will I be too late to the party?

So I just watched a few YouTube videos on options and I totally get calls, but I'm still confused about how puts work. Can someone help me understand, in understandable English, how a put would work for this stock? I do not own any shares.
Puts for Mar 5th expiration at a $20 strike price are right around $2.00. I know that a put is the option to SELL a stock at the strike price, but not the obligation to sell it (I don't own any to sell).
I think the stock is going to tank soon, so let's say by the end of february the stock is trading at $10 a share. How exactly would that be good or bad for me?

But yeah the fundamentals, which has been stated many times, show that 140% of the float is shorted. What fricking more do you need to know after that? It is probably worse now since the shorters have doubled down on their shorts.
Also it was funny how on TDA I owed them about 10,000$ on margin and have owned them on margin for many months now, usually from $5k-$10k, with no problem or threat of margin call. But I paid it all off when I went balls deep on GME, and then I bought 2 option contracts on Mon, which put me about at $7,000 margin, and then gave me a warning this morning of them doing a margin call. It is absolutely bullshite what they are trying to pull. My account went up 200%+ just today, and they are still saying I have no option buying power on margin and that my margin stock buying power is -$14000. So if you are going in on GME, buy it in cash and not on margin, or they will make a margin call on you quick. I think this shows that it is about to moon.

Just saw the Schwab maintenance margin on GME is 200%

Which calls are you targeting? Everything is so juiced.
The weekly $GME 200 calls traded at a low today of $1.68 this morning and a high of $22 this afternoon.
If someone had purchased those calls at $1.70 and was able to sell at the high, then they made almost 1,200% or almost 13 times their money in a few hours.
If the price opens where it is now - $224 or $240 is a price I saw earlier. Wow!
Posted on 1/26/21 at 6:16 pm to KickPuncher
I will be up at 6:30 tomorrow and buy back in at 7am if in fact it appears to be going to the moon. I got an absolute gift today. I fully understand what is happening now. The shorters are in quite a bind.
