And that’s all I’m really trying to offer. While I’m not a direct competitor to RH and other do it yourself platforms, they create headaches for me every so often nonetheless. I’m not going to lose sleep as they get blasted left and right, but there are real reasons they have to do some of these things.
IB is kind of a different animal altogether, fwiw, but I can’t imagine there is a ton of GME buying there even before the restrictions, so I’m not sure how much their decision really drives any price action.

In then end, my position has always been this should have ended last Friday. Few funds go pop and maybe a broker or two has to eat some shite. A few plebs get rich and we all forget about this by June.
But here we are.
But here we are.

Yes. While I’m jealous as hell of those who got in earlier, having no vested interest on it is probably best for the psyche for me. I’m rooting for all of you, even if we know it ends poorly for many.

Extremely jealous. I should have put last year's stimulus all in this.

A lot of regular people will lose a lot of money when this is over.

I got in lateish.... $85 per and not many shares. I didn't believe it would get to this point, but I'm still ridding into next week either my original position. Has been fun...

Of course they will, this is the way of the market. For every buyer there is a seller.

Yup. I took cost off the table long ago (not really but this has felt like it’s gone on for a month lol). I can diamond hand because the stock could go to 0 and I’m good.
It is nice seeing my portfolio bright green overall on these very red market days though.

My exact position. I won't sell for anything unless we go to $1000+.

Was afraid of whatever shenanigans they plan over the weekend, so just wanted to ensure don't end up with nothing to show for all this.

thats the thing that made me pause, why are brokers still allowing funds to short while retail traders are being limited from buying?
i dont care about losing money, but to continue on playing a game where the rules change on me after my opponent is being decimated is difficult to process

The movement is nice but you need to do you. I think it is funny to laugh about but no judgement.
