I chalked this holding of mine up as a total loss. If it comes back, yay. If not, oh well. Im my mind, I've already said its a total loss. Selling now isn't worth salvaging a few dollars

TTT, I feel about the same as you. But, I have considered buying several hundred more shares as a roll of the dice. IF they do come through this then it could be a home run.

Bought in at $9. Wish I had the balls to keep buying now that it's almost $2.

Maybe I'll buy some options when it goes below $2

I feel that way about my REIT.

Unless I just sell that and put it all in Noble Corp.

Seadrill just laid off a lot of workers in the last 2 months. Not sure what that means to any of this.

It means that they're trying to slow the bleeding by getting one of the larger expenses off the books, payroll.

I've managed to average down this one to $17ish...I am in a holding pattern here. I expext it will take a couple years to get even.

Down bigtime

Chalk this one up as a pretty cheap learning lesson

I don't own sea drill but I bought vnr a few years back for $25, watched it go to $32, and still hold as it sits at $1.50

I added some shares when it was at $1.50 to get my average from $20 down to $5. I may bail out once I break even

I almost bought more... I'm still in at $7.24 overall. Just glad it's that low after yesterday's purchase.

In at $1.75, a Fredriksen double down could be massive.

If I was you, I'd be selling like crazy. That dude doubling down isn't going to make oil prices rise. In the end, that is what pays the bills for SDRL

It will help alleviate some of their financing issues. I'm looking 10 years on this one.
