What gives? Lost 11% yesterday and down another 11% AH.

A bit of a pullback was expected but this is pretty big

Sold all of mine the last couple days between 23-24. Cost basis around $9. I saw no real reason for the recent run up so quickly, but obviously glad to take advantage. Airlines are still in a world of hurt IMO.

Airlines are in for a rough go, no doubt, bus Save has such a strong Balance Sheet they are one of the least likely to fail. They have enough cash to last which could make them come out even stronger if competitors fail.

That's why I invested in them, heavily. But I will set a stop loss order to make sure I secure significant gains should they continue to tumble. Still believe in them long term but I will take my assured profits as I have been wrong many a time before.

Stick triples in a week and you’re wondering why it’s selling off?

To be fair we aren’t operating in normal times here.

It tripled in a week and was still 50% lower than its 52 week high.

It sure does, but since you haven't sold, you haven't lost money.

Airlines will come back in the long term. Some may not survive and will be taken over in a "fire sale" but that will work out well for those who are strong enough to get through this mess.

Ya, I tried to get back in at 18 and missed it.

Oh well, carnival has their earnings release on the 18th so I may just wait and jump in that mess.

I’m flying on LUV right now. Only 63 people on board a 737-700. They can’t make money like this. Not to mention, no adult beverages to buy

That sucks. I have tickets booked for August 19th. I hope they're still solvent by then!

I plan on buying in below 15 and then again lower. I won’t go all in at $15. Their balance sheet works for me but once PPP dries up and if we see erosion of disposable cash for their flyer base I think loads may be too light in the short run.
