I rock the suit pants and a nice shirt. Occasionally a blazer or suit jacket depending on the event, but never a tie.
Some people stress the casual part of business casual.

Suit up everyday but after I hit the gym I come back in gym shorts and a t-shirt.

Whenever people meet with clients they wear suit/tie, otherwise its just standard b-casual.

I believe it was Zach who said "x will break, anticipate it." Two weeks ago it was the car battery, today the tire I got patched has a hole in it. I could get it re-patched, but I have a feeling its probably fricked since its the second time its had a hole in it in two months. FML.

$765, thank you, random piece of shrapnel in houston. My cash flow statement would make Enron blush.

Update on guy who wears weird clothes: today he is wearing a pinkish/purple polo and plaid pants. Winning all day.

Tax question.
Is it better for someone in a tax bracket of no taxable income to take short-term capital gains, instead of holding any stock over a year and paying long-term capital gains taxes?
If I am right long-term capital gains are taxed at 15%, and short-term capital gains are taxed at your income tax bracket. Wouldn't anyone below a 15% be better off just taking the short-term gains and paying less in taxes. Or is there an exception to this particular situation in the tax code?

Got into KLIC for a little under 8 bucks this afternoon.
Even though I made the call on my own, that's a favorite of RSBR and he turned me onto it.
I'm hoping for a big gap up in the morning and I will exit my position for a nice 10+% gain.

For one tire?
Posted on 8/9/11 at 8:07 pm to sneakytiger
Well I would have bought one tire, but the guy was like, your other tires are 5ish years old, your steering is going to be all out of whack and you're going to end up having to buy 3 tires at some point, etc etc. So 4 tires plus the "optional" alignment fee.

Just found this app in Mint.com.
All I do is generate Alpha.
ETA: that does not represent the 65% cash outperformance of the S&P I have had.

Either take the hit now or claim in on insurance and have your rates bumped (unless your deductible isn't covered yet).
Tough luck, kfiz. Things will get better.
Btw, I can't believe someone would actually wear plaid pants to work. Pics or...you know the drill.
Nice gains, THF.

Things undoubtedly get better tomorrow because I'm flying into nola for red dress run. Mind you, not financially better, at least not right now, as I pretty much just wiped out my income from probably . I'll leave the hit/insurance decision up to whoever the poor bastard is that I just hit.

RSBR, I got back in to BFRE today.
They just piled up some venture money a while back and its now trading at half of what the fund bought in at.
Awful company, great price.
