When I went into the Nissan place for a repair I looked around the show room floor to kill time. I saw a 4 door sedan with a sticker price of 98K.

I told my golfing partner about it and he said "There is no such thing as a Nissan for 98K."

I looked up Nissan and he's correct. I hate to go all the way back there and ask a salesman "What the heck is this car?"

Anyone know what it might be?

As for those who want to order a new 2012 GT-R, the car will reach dealer showrooms in February in two trim levels. The base Premium edition will be priced at $89,950, while the Black Edition, with unique seat trim, colors and wheels, will retail at $95,100

ETA: im not a car expert

It's most likely the Nissan GT-R

I saw the letter G on it but it was a four door sedan, not a sports car. This is driving me crazy. I'm gonna go in tomorrow morning and ask them what it is. Because my golf buddy thinks I need new glasses.

The GT-R is a badass ride. Not my personal taste but it gets up and goes in a hurry.

The 2013 Nissan GT-R 0-60 mph acceleration time was recently measured at 2.72 seconds. Top speed is 196 mph.

You guys are right. It is a GTR. I thought it was a four door because it has four seats and it's bigger than a sports car.

I asked the salesperson why the name Nissan is not on it. She says it's because the car is marketed separately, kinda like Lexus and Toyota. In Japan it's marketed as a "Skyline" instead of a Nissan.
She said that if I didn't see it on some Nissan internet sites that's why. But it is manufactured by Nissan.

She said 98 is a pretty basic model. You can get stuff to run it up to 125K.
