I'm going to back a truck up to ARKK at/below 100

I still like risky assets in 2021. To me this isn't the once in a lifetime last April was to get in, but this is a good entry point.

At about 930 today I bought a few shares of CRSP at 100.75 and a bunch of pltr at 21 or so.

I'm taking the approach, I'm either doing nothing right now, or buying some of these deep dips. I'm not going to chase any reopening BS or pile into a industrial that's going to get snapped down next week.

I don't have much cash though, I got kinda caught by this in that respect. I have a backup savings account I keep like 10-15% of my portfolio value in cash in case there's a crash and I have no cash. Not confident to touch that yet.

A little context: I'm only down like 5% YTD including today. I'm decently diversified.

Just hold baw, you'll be fine

ETA: I'm just waiting on PLTR to stop being a meme stock. Once it does, it will be nice

Over the past two days I’ve bought

ABNB
APPN
CRWD
EXPI
FVRR
IDXX
LMND
MSTR
PLTR
CRM
SHOP
SNOW
TSLA
TLRY
ZM

I am a firm believer that “tech wreck” is overblown. O&G was overvalued 6 months ago but appears stretched to me now - as does every other “reopening” and/or infrastructure play. If I’ve learned anything, the stuff the talking heads are currently spinning is a cycle late. If you had a position in those other names previously, great. Maybe a little room to run, but not to chase. But what they are irrationally selling. Tech is still the future IMO.

Agreed but I think the bond rate story is going to keep on for the near term. Those tech stocks still have a long way to go down to get anywhere near pre COVID levels. I'm not sure all of the market "pukes" are out of the way yet. I think still haven't had that total capitulation day. When that happens, I'll be loading the boat....

I don’t disagree with any of that. Some are higher fliers than others and some are covid related others are simply great companies.

In general I like to buy on the way down and keep adding and not try to wait for the absolute rock bottom.

Bought appl at 112 after the split. Just bought some at 117.90. No reason for Apple to be regressing even with the move of money to smaller tech companies.

I bought PLTR at $9. I definitely think it’s overpriced now but I’m not selling. I think it will be $50 the next few years.
