This director, who had bought many shares under $10, found 25.23 to be a fine place to add.
Interesting that she didn’t add into the huge run last year, but has two adds above $20 in the past couple of months.

If this poster starts highlighting OUST as a top robotics pure play, watch out.
This is a new era folks.

Bought up some shares at $28.50. Had some $30c 8/26, and sold them to partially fund the buy.
LFG.

Do yall think OUST has anywhere close to the potential as NBIS?

Yes and no. NBIS is coming up on $50B cap, and OUST is $1.7B. I don't see OUST getting that large. However, OUST only has about 1/4 of the shares outstanding that NBIS has, and is priced at around $30/shr.
So, from an investment standpoint, I like OUST, since it could go 3x within a year, whereas I think NBIS probably has a 2X ceiling, just because it is much earlier in it's growth stage.
TLDR: I see OUST hitting $90 before NBIS hits $600...

Sold a little in $32 since I was overweight. Nice move today

But do we actually see OUST hitting 90? Lidar tech I see as important, but data center important?

OUST is in it's infancy. The demand is just beginning. If OUST becomes the industry leader, it could hit $90. Again, OUST at $90 is the same valuation as NBIS at $22, so no, it won't be data center big, but that doesn't mean the return won't be great.
NBIS price per share is nearly the same as NVDA, but, as we know, NBIS is nowhere near the size of Nvidia, and I think NBIS is still going to get a better return for the next few years than NVDA.

As Jax laid out it’s not a 1:1 comparison.
I look at it this way. OUST claims to be going after a TAM of 70bn.
Let’s say the TAM is only half of that, and let’s say that OUST, the Western leader only captures 10% of 35bn
At just a 5x P/S multiple of 3.5, you’re looking at a 17.5bn market cap by 2030.
Roughly a 6-8x with some dilution.
Probably terrible quick math, but am I in the ball park Jax?

Assuming you feel current price is still a good entry point?

For the long run, I think it is. Short term, it could drop back to $27 or go to $40 and never look back.
I want to add one more thing: NBIS is trying to carve out a niche market in the neocloud space because they are vertically integrated and one stop shopping. They ha e been successful and it would be very difficult for a competitor to replicate their product. Even if they do, there is not enough compute power do satiate the demand.
With Lidar, the demand is still ramping up. If a competitor jumps into the market with a better product, it could hurt OUSTs market share and profitability.

Today is the break out day that the chart has been pointing toward ever since it climbed above the 200 day moving average.
It will either take out all time highs in the $40s or it will retest the new 9 day EMA.
It’s impossible to tell which will happen first with any certainty.
But that’s why I loaded more once it crossed ~25. The chart pointed toward a large breakout.

You could also have a wildcard like this happen at any moment, but of course that's not a thesis.

I don't think we had one close below $25 since then as buyers jumped in huge every time we saw $24.xx
Resistance was $30 so now let's see if that's the NEW support. Onward...

That's a break out.
Let's see if the 200 day can turn into support at 25.22

This post explains it well. There's a subpar peer named AEVA, who is trading at a much richer valuation than OUST.
If the market re rates OUST at a 15x forward price to sales ratio (based on 2026 estimate of 221m in revenue) then the stock will trade around $55.
I think we are seeing that happen right now.

OUST is killing it today.
