How much room does this have to run long term? Market cap is relatively small
Revenue is growing at roughly 40% annually. They’ve reported 13 straight quarters of growth.
That puts 2030 revenue, conservatively, at 800mm
Slap just a 9x p/s rating on it and you’re looking at 7.2bn cap (OUST is trading at 10x 2026 sales currently).
That’s $115/share as a three year price target (but I think that the P/S will expand to 12 and that revenue will increase with Rev8 and smart infrastructure adoption).
A more aggressive take (900mm at 12 p/s) yields 171.81 per share
A blended model with 10% dilution factored in, brings us to $129.10
2029 price target looking forward to 2030 revenue is $129
This is rough revenue based math.
We can do a bit better once we see profit margins, hopefully next year, and then can assign a P/E ratio rather than P/S.

BB88, thanks for all of your work in here... much appreciated.

Anyone closing some calls to take some profit on the 1/27 $40s? Or do we believe this goes much higher?
Posted on 5/26/26 at 12:22 pm to The Boat
But, unofficially, I think revenue from Rev8 color LiDAR is going to melt faces.

You’re thinking correctly.
I’m selling half of my $35s if I can get 20.20 for them.
I suppose I will just go immediately into shares.
If shares drop to $30, that’s better than holding options through that kind of drawdown.
I feel it’s prudent to take advantage of these kinds of 50% moves

I bought in at $26, sold today for $42.70. That's a pretty sweet run for a month's investment.

I sold my position in one of my portfolios for this morning.
Average cost $27.52
Sold $44.00
Still holding long in others, but wanted to take some gains. A solid two weeks right there. Thank you BB

Just blew past $45 on a strong green candle push.

Sold all options.
Now all shares.
I have enough shares now to move to needle if this indeed gets to my near term $63 price target.
Options allowed me to increase share count in Roth by more than 50%
They did the job.

Trimmed about 30% of my shares at 44.83 this morning at a cost basis around $29. I have a $40 covered call out there I sold last week (first CC I’ve ever done
) so wouldn’t mind if we took a bit of a dip to re-enter on the shares I sold in order to gain a few more.

Ouster was awarded a multimillion-dollar contract by the City of Nashville, Tennessee, to deploy its complete traffic management solution, Ouster BlueCity, at more than 100 intersection and roadway sites following successful pilots and deployments in key locations. This initiative is a collaborative effort with the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT), Vanderbilt University and Ouster BlueCity distributor Southern Lighting & Traffic Systems (SLTS) to enhance mobility and safety in the city.

I closed my $35 June calls and $40 July call today. Could not resist 200% and 250% gains. Let me know if you add any calls with date and price and I will buy back in. Your insight and DD has been a welcome addition to my portfolio. Thanks BB88

Nice gains!!
You really milked them!
Any time! (On a dip).
Right now, I’m thinking of selling two puts per week on OUST to collect that juice!
$40 strike 6/5s

While Rev8 adoption may blow minds, I’m going to keep my summer PT at $63 and Santa rally target at $81…
But this would be better:

Ouster is up 48% in the last 5 trading days! And just think, this is only the beginning.
