Havent looked into it at all but don't use volume as a measure of anything right now.
Down quite a bit across the market

A lot of my same thoughts...

I get that there is a lot of excitement in the crypto space in general, and the extreme price increases in November and December last year gave everyone some insane dopamine rushes, but reading the comments here, it just seems that what people are looking for here is unsustainable, both on our part and on Vechain's. A couple of thoughts:
1. Vechain is the closest thing to a fully developed start-up in the crypto space.
2. The value of the VET tokens is going to be driven by the value of the Vechain platform. It will be determined by how much demand there is by (1) enterprise users, and (2) institutional investors.
3. Since Vechain is a fully-developed start-up, news of meetings with politicians or new partnerships should not be "pumping" the price every single day. That's not how business valuations work. Valuations should grow gradually over quarters and years as the business value is proven. VEN cannot reach its true valuation within the next 12 months. If it did, it would be a result of a speculative bubble and would have to correct.
4. After the rebranding, it seems that Vechain will need to get down to the business of launching the mainnet and bringing more clients on board. We can expect them to keep us informed and excited about their progress, but we can't expect them to make needless announcements to try to "pump" the price.
5. The fact that Vechain posts are banned elsewhere on Reddit makes absolutely no difference. Reddit posters FOMOing in cannot push VEN past $9 or $10. You need to be patient for enterprise and institutional investors.
EDIT: I should add, I think anyone not having this perspective will ruin what could be one of the best experiences of their lives. This is the closest that a lot of us will ever get to being part of a world-changing start-up. I think we should try to enjoy the ride.

Did your mama drop you on head as a baby or did you naturally ride the short bus?
We got it. You like Vegchain or whatever. I like 25-30 tokens and coins. Give it a rest.

So I currently have some ETH, BTC, Stellar and POE sitting on binance that I bought or am about to use to purchase alts.
Should I just let them sit on there or is it safer to send the BTC, Stellar and POE to CoinBase and in my wallet?
Is it even possible to send the Stellar and POE to CB?

Litecoin sure loves to make violently large green candles during the good times.

Would you back off this shite?
You make this thread retarded when there is plenty of other interesting cryptosphere happenings to discuss.
This will be my only post about him but y’all need to start ignoring him. He doesn’t even understand 90% of what he is posting and probably hasn’t spent more than $20 in crypto. It’s ridiculous he hasn’t been banned.

Volume picking up, btc at 9200 and eth at 890. Things are looking positive.

I'm assuming there's a wall at 900? What volume do we need to break through?
Posted on 2/14/18 at 9:56 am to Tiguar
BTC now at 9325 and ETH at 907

Volume, in and of itself, doesn't mean much other than market interest.
For example, during the crash, ETHs volume was almost 1 million.
Volume can be used as an indicator of how fast things will go.
It's possible for volume to stay low and value to slow-climb if no one is selling.
But volume picking up with a climb is good news because it means there is fresh buying interest.
The next big resistance points for ETH are 950 and 1000, but if volume and positive sentiment keep up, I expect we will push through them today

The EMA lines are angled upward on the 1d chart for ETH the first time since the last crash :)
I think we need to see ETH above 980-1000 to signal a true recovery

Can someone give us an update on ECA? It seems dead. No volume, still no clear purpose and the price seems to have flatlined.
Waiting on exchanges still. They recently paid the listing fee for Cryptopia. Just waiting it out. You get 50% annually in staking rewards so no rush for me.

Enthusiasm has waned and ETH has dipped back below 900. Regardless, it was good to break the resistance 900-920.
Lets hope this is a short recoil off the upper resistance and we return to eating into the upper level walls.

BTC doing well but is stuck pinging the resistance 9450-9500. Breaking 9500 would be huge. There i currently about 850~ BTC (over 8m USD) worth of resistance 9450-9500.
