OK, well your reaction is pretty ridiculous. His original prediction was already pretty aggressive, so if it had ended up being conservative without his revision, that wouldn't have made him look foolish, just conservative.

You seem triggered as frick, though, so I'll let you vent however you want. Do predictions in general make you this mad, or just this one?

He may still be right. It dropped back down within a day and didn't hold the $10 mark very long. His original prediction could still be very accurate. The moral, really, is stick to your guns and don't swing wildly with the wind. One thing I have figured out in my four days or so of cryptoing is that these things change often and drastically.

The point was that predictions are stupid, especially from someone that just got into it

Maybe, maybe not. I think every case is different.

Are you referring to me, because I'm not making any predictions? I'm simply pointing out it may be a little early to call him out over it.

I wasn’t talking about you

And I’m not calling him out, I’m making a point that predictions are dumb, for anyone

I'm not missing the point. And you're definitely losing your cool for no reason "genius."

You say predictions are pointless, yet that is what drives every decision we make to a certain extent. Unless you know something others don't or can dictate the results, your investment decisions are based on a prediction of a future state based on available information, right? How do you make those decisions without an underlying prediction? Or are you just not a fan of people stating their predictions publicly?

Shot in the dark, but a handful of folks who haven't been in this thread for a while just showed up to attack random posts/posters. Any of you care to explain that coincidence? Just curious.

There's a backstory. That's why you don't get it.

I see that too. It keeps getting right there and stalling.

So ETH is being held down artificially? I assume this will be good news once they stop doing that, but it's going to have some negative impact of sorts in the short term?

no ICX is. mainnet launches tonight so one would assume people are trying to accumulate tons now so that they can dump after a suspected run up tonight. Don't know how much it will actually run tonight. supposedly 31st is a bigger deal for pricing.

Is ECA dead? The volatility is gone and the volume is shrinking everyday. Not looking good for bigger exchanges to pick them up.

Damnit, am I the only one who has their bitcoin take 10 days to arrive on coinbase? Could this be a bank thing or is this pretty much a universal obstacle for all of those who purchase bitcoin?

No. Just held hostage by the exchange process at the moment. The volume is shrinking because there is nowhere worth a shite to trade it and a ton of coins are stuck on the exchange that crashed.
