I'm on the hodl train now myself. I took the opportunity of everything being down to diversify and pick up some LTC, DASH, LSK, STRAT, and XRP.

Should I buy BTC or ETH right now or wait?
I think for me anything around 200 or less is a buy.
My comment on market orders was about those flash crashes they cause when someone dumps it on the market like that
With thats said i know very little and i wouldn't recommend following my advice others in here know much better

I can't believe people are telling you to buy into this market right now. Everyone should wait a bit longer as this market is still overinflated and uncertainty with BTC still looms. I would suggest waiting until later this month. I have a series of buy orders for ETH below 175 and below 2100 for BTC. BTC could easily go down to 1600-1800 and ETH could drop to 120-160 before the end of the month.

I'm managing the cost basis and just buying a bit at a time for the market leaders (BTC/ETH) every other week. I'm in for the long haul

Thanks, I'll keep watching then. I get the feeling it could go lower but then again I worry I'll miss the next takeoff

FOMO is my Achilles heel. It's real.

Bites me in the arse every time. Luckily experience bag hodling made me paranoid about that as well. So my losses have bern pretty gppd abour being small so far on my speculative plays

Made fun of Kim Mulkey. Apparently that's a no-no.

Bad bitcoin fork the first would hurt everyone

The fork is shaping up to be just a spork. A non -event. Based on a good bit of interwebs research. That's what I'm going on.
Got some ETH under $210 early today. Glad I had ETC already.
Missed a pre ico today with timing and technical issues.
but at least I learned a few lessons.

That the market is overbought and happens to be correcting at the same time that there is FUD. Sprinkle in some manipulators and possible glitches with segwit and you have a shite show. In terms of TA you generally expect a 50% correction after a rapid increase in price.

That is the greatest thing I've read in this whole damned thread

Combine that with why Bitcoin became big in the first place and who is offering up these solutions to the problem. I could see bitcoin never recovering because it is basically about to be hijacked by the people that normally control money.
Ethereum has always had questionable connections but it offers a lot more in value than just currency.
