If this cycle plays out like the ones before, we should be peaking in the 4 quarter of this year. Figured with this recent pump, we will most likely trade sideways thru August and September. We should start picking up steam in October. Rate cuts, and ending QT will help for this final push IMO. Seems like things are setting up nicely as in years past. I plan on selling then, and will jump back in late 2026.

It’s crazy that someone unloaded 80k bitcoin from 2011 and the market barely flinched. We’re entering an entirely new regime.

We may be steering away from the 4 year cycle that we’ve become accustomed too. Bitcoin has become more mainstream with the adoption happening outside the retail investor. I can see the possibility of milder pullbacks unlike the ones we’ve see before. I also feel that alts will follow. If ETH takes out 4K, I believe we are headed to a huge rally in the 4 quarter. Time will tell.

I was just having this conversation in that I believe this fact right here may be the single most bullish thing in my mind so far in 2025. 80,000 bitcoin market sold over a period of 1 day last year would have crashed us 50+%. Germany sold 50,000 coins over a 1 month period last year and we pulled back 30%. For this market to absorb 80k coins in a single day and the price falls not even 4% is batshit insane. It is so insanely bullish that I am still very skeptical on whether all the coins were sold spot but a lot of smart people I follow on twitter are saying they were.

Where are you seeing it was all spot?

Last I read was no one could really tell if 70k was sold OTC or even just moved, and only 10k was confirmed to be sold on an exchange at spot

I think we have all been over analyzing bitcoin post ETF. It’s just up and to the right slowly and steadily. If you sell you’re probably not getting back in cheaper one year later under most circumstances. It’s also not a means of hitting a one year 5 bagger anymore. Just a very solid contributor to the old portfolio.

Did any of you guys get in on Trumps WLFI token. I was a little hyped about trying to get in early but apparently they had to do multiple funding rounds because the first one last year didn’t get enough traction. It wouldn’t have been a hold for me but I was at least gonna try and catch the initial run up

Anyone think this crypto policy report coming out tomorrow will say anything along the lines of the government purchasing bitcoin? Seems like we would be running up into the report if that was the case. Hope the report isn’t a nothing burger

If it was anything meaningful, price would be running. No one in government can keep a secret. It will 100% be a nothing burger as all these government press conference and reports

The more I am watching all this play out, the less I am convinced are NOT in a cycle. And this time really is different.

The final piece of this is if/when a big boy starts holding some BTC. META, Facebook a central bank, etc.

I think we just grind up from here like the S&P is doing

If we get a real alt season I will rethink this.

They’re completely disassociated at this point. Btc is in the process of becoming QQQ 2.0. This week’s approval for IBIT’s options contracts to 10x is a big deal IMO. If Johnny Retail sells his stack to “time the top”, there will be 10 funds buying it up and then some. “We” no longer control this trade.

I’m trying to tune out more and think of it like my 401k or shares of the mag 7. It’s going way way up and the mistake will be getting in my own way.

It was what he said, not that the rates weren't cut. Market dumped the second he insinuated (1:35pm) that there would not be multiple cuts this year

We inching back tho
