All time highs on a quiet weekend??

Recently it doesn't matter what price does on weekend, it typically opens Monday at/near the price it closed on Friday. Would be nice if we can keep this strength going into tomorrow

I wouldn’t disregard any new ATH.

May be a sign traditional, non-etf retail is getting more interested.

Bitcoin is at its previous ATH in EUR from a few months ago.

Not sure how hard it will be to break that but fyi.

We’re breached $120K. Hard to be angry about my short trade getting crushed when I hold physical BTC long. The bad part is that my protective puts to inure my unrealized gains are going to get expensive. My cost basis that I averaged up is still only $22K per BTC.

Ideally I’d still like to win the short by the expiry, but if I don’t, I don’t.

For a while the volatility was very predictable. I don’t know if that going to be the case going forward or not.

Congrats to everyone that held physical BTC and stay steady. Has to feel pretty good right now.

It is mornings like this when I fully understand why those who dip out do so. It is tempting, but damn!

It all seriousness, it’s a good time for all of us to evaluate our strategies objectively.

It’s hard to stay focused on the data when things start ripping.

The things I am looking at are time and BTC dominance

Historically, BTC is at or near its cycle top around October. Historically, BTC dominance will get to around 70% before reversal.

Problem is BTC has already demonstrated that it will be a bit “early” this cycle in terms of USD value, so the October thing may not hold. So, I am also looking at BTC dominance. Unless BTC dominance runs past 70% or drops below 61%, there really isn’t much else to do right now but hodl.

I'm really having a hard time with the cycle theory going forward. History says it is real, but we have never had adoption levels like this nor have we seen BTC integrated with trad fi.

I'm still trying to process this but my gut says we are going to follow the path of what gold did after it was launched in ETF form.

Up for a decade.

Regardless, I told myself I would treat myself to a big purchase at 150k. So I will sell off 2-3 btc then.

If its BTC only, I would go cold card.

If its a mix of cryptos, a trezor.

It seems every cycle we get to that point where we start saying "maybe this time is different," but it never is. But is it different this time? I'm with you on a fuzzy outlook. Only the magic 8-ball knows, and it's currently saying "Reply hazy, try again."
