CNBC briefly mentioned the recent tank of BTC right before the bottom fell out if ETH. Could just be coincidence.

Anyone know what the timing between CB and Polo is? I want to buy but waiting for the 320 range I am seeing on POLO. Thanks

Goddamnit BTC if you could shoot up like 10% rn that'd be great.

I'm in some altcoins that have finally turned a profit in terms of BTC. But BTC has dropped like a rock today, so the dollar equivalent is still a loss.

That's one thing that's weird I find about Polo/Crypto markets.

The items that trade against other cryptos like ETH/BTC don't necessarily follow the inverse of their pair.

Like if BTC goes up, alt coins seem to go up as well, when in reality they should be falling in terms of BTC. When BTC tanks, the bigger altcoins seem to tank as well, when they should be going up relative to BTC.

Makes it interesting when you are getting "double" gains when BTC is rising along with your altcoins, but royally sucks when your altcoins are falling AND BTC is falling.

Is anyone else salivating at the thought of scooping up some sub-$200 ETH?

I'm hoping this thing keeps tanking, although I do feel bad for anyone that bought in at $400.

Why feel bad for them? That's a stupid buy

That would be amazing, but don't think that's gonna happen unless we get some bad news.

Ehh, not necessarily. It's really dumb if you're trying to make quick flips and play the dips/surges. It's not bad if you intend to buy and hold for the long term.

BTC hit like 700 or so a few years back and then retreated to 3-400 for a while. if you bought at 700 and didn't sell, it's worked out pretty well for you as it stands today.

Is there such a thing as a stupid buy for something that's purely speculation? I bought in the 200s when it was at a high point and have done great. There's no telling when this thing rises and falls.

There's almost zero chance these people will hold long enough. Majority getting in are trying to make a quick profit

This.

Since I got into this thread people were wishing it would drop to sub-100's to buy more. Then it was sub 150's. Then it was sub 200, then sub 250, then sub 300.....

Decent chance in a month we'll all be wishing it would dip to 450 for a buying opportunity.
