Anyone heard of Viper Protocol? A friend that pays for research says it's possibly a very good buy. They had locked rewards that recently started to unlock which drove the price down from $1-$1.50 as late as mid Jan, down to $.025. It's still only at $.037, but supposedly should rebound nicely this year and has big plans for 2022.

I'm probably just over panicking because I got an email on a successful login that wasn't me so I changed my password and froze it. Now going trough the process to unfreeze it. On day 2 now.

Complete crypto newb here. I have a small chunk of change to play with and thought maybe I'd invest it in crypto just for kicks.

Anybody have any recommendations?

I was reading about Dogecoin and Shiba Inu Coin. That they are meme coins and maybe have already seen their best days, that the time to get in was early. I could get a ton more Shiba Inu Coin for the price, but I read somewhere that the chances of it ever being worth a single penny are astronomically low.

I do like the idea of getting a ton of coin for less than a penny and then just forgetting about it.

Even something like this Viper Protocol sounds interesting. But I have no idea.

Anyway, any recommendations or advice would be appreciated, thank you all and God bless.

I would say get over the idea of "getting a ton of coins". You will be able to forget about them though, cause chances are very high you will end up with zero.

There is no easy, guaranteed win. You have to put some time in and find quality projects you believe in.

I am a Terra person myself. I don't think you can go wrong with LUNA, ANC and ASTRO at this time. If you want a safe 20% return, just deposit UST in anchor and forget about it.

Outside of that ecosystem, there are other options that have a high potential of being winners over the long term such as RUNE, ATOM, UOS, GALA, AR, RNDR, QRDO.

I am sure others can recommend other options as well.

In my little world, it is hard to beat the upside of buying some astro and using the ASTRO/UST pool on astroport. Almost an 80% return last I checked it

If you truly want to gamble, a Terra metaverse play is lunaverse which will be launching this year. The LUV token is around $0.06 and you can single stake it on lunaverse.io for no lock period, 3 month or 6 month for varying yield %

Yep. I'm also in Lunaverse. The Terra metaverse is in its infancy and the LUV token also has a really low marketcap (like $10M or less).

In the same vein, I'm also looking at TerraWorld, but I haven't researched them as much.

I am pretty deep in the Terra NFT community and there is never mention of TerraWorld. It is always either Lunaverse or Astro Heroes

Thanks for the heads up. I need to research the Terra space a lot more.

Exactly what i did with Shiba Inu a few months ago.. got 1.4 million shares for $35 US dollars…. I figure what the hell, despite what others tell you, do that with a few different coins and you’ll never miss the money, and if any of them ever hit $1 in your lifetime, you’ll be set.. to me there’s no downside .

If yall want to do this. Go to coinmarketcap.com and do a sort of lowest market cap to high and gamble. Not price of coin.

Anyone checking out the new "omnichain" messaging protocol, LayerZero? A new NFT collection called gh0stly gh0sts implemented this and their whole collection is across multiple chains. They did 2000 NFTs on each chain, with different backgrounds denoting each chain. You can move your NFT around chains. I'm hoping to work some of this functionality into the governance token for the DAO I'm working with.

Huge implications in crypto imo, particularly with large applications like DEXs.

Exactly. The market cap is what's important.

Also, research the hell out of those low Mcap coins. They can easily be rugs or could just never take off. There has to be a solid team and community.

No, I prefer shitcoins that don't even have a website.

Xdoge is a bluechip in my book.

Seemed like he was just bouncing from one alt to the next depending on which one was hot at the time. He's probably holding some big bags that are getting crushed right now
