Still haven't decided if I want to get in early or not. Usually I would wait for the intial run up then down from profit taking whitelist/presale people, but since that's already been going on the past couple weeks with aRome actively trading (essentially Rome without staking) I'm wondering if we are already well up that peak.

Haven’t looked at it yet. The way the formulas are run even a small 0.5% each rebase can adjust the apy total substantially.

When they launched they had several warnings before each rebase “this is not sustainable - we are working to get it lowered”

I'm hesitant about Rome because of their approach to "gameifying" the DAO. I do however like the fact they are on Moonriver network.

I'm currently in 3 DAOs. Ohm who was the first mover of this concept and on the Eth Mainnet. Time, one of the first Ohm forks on the Avax network and Hector on the Fantom network. Both the Avax and Fantom networks are eating into the Eth market share and for good reason.

As we all know Eth as responded with Eth 2.0 which is supposed to offer more competitive gas fees. But after reading on discord boards it looks like Eth 2.0 won't be ready until May-June 2022 timeframe. With that said Ohm is not standing idly by and have offered wsOHM that you can purchase on the Avax network. (Soon to be gOHM on Ohm v2, which Olympus continues to innovate and lead the pack).

With that said, I'm just going to watch aRome from a distance. Again I don't like the gamifying feel but if that's your thing then Rome is for you. I like these other DAOs and I try to pick the best ones on each network because they are trying to solve and are solving liquidity problems on DeFi 2.0 for other defi projects.

I am in:

Time
GYRO
EXOD
IN

I have lost my arse on GYRO and EXOD but I started with he same balance on all of them.

Time and IN have more than made up for my losses on the other two, but knowing what I know now, I could have made money with the others. I should have been bonding on the others instead of just buy, staking, and being diluted.

I know some of y'all hate the ETH ratio talk, but it's looking stout this morning. Probably won't get past .08 for very long, but I'd love to be wrong. On the other side of the coin, when the ratio hit these levels in May, everyone crashed very soon afterwards. Here's to hoping it's different this time.

I dumped exod -50% and went into fhm. Was a phenomenal choice.

Yep ageee on bonding - I look at bond rates daily. And choose stake or bond.

You can catch some big in bonds (~20%) they are slow to adjust.

Fhm uses automatic bond adjustments based on price so it’s close to staking except it’s for 4 days 8 hrs vs stake at 5 days.

Spa is also doing well for me and my wmemo is increasing too.

Fhm launched on moonriver day before Rome, so they are on fantom and moonriver. They are on huckleberry and are close with the devs.

FHM used 700k to setup the movr liquidity and made it back in less than 24 hrs.

I also caught a nice 30% arb last night when they opened up the unwrapping of the fhm tokens I moved from ftm to movr

I'm definitely watching it with trepidation. Hoping for the best. Preparing for the worst.

I hate the that ratio talk because it reminds me of one of my worst trade of my crypto career - trading almost 3 digits of ETH for BTC in January at 0.027

Feels like we got a week or two left. Hoping ETH & SOL ATHs as a going away present for the year.

I wouldn't mind a little bear to scare the new money out of these daos. the unknown could add some extra panic or they might be a safe haven

Every time it tests 60k I have a miniature panic attack because I just don't have enough exposure nor enough money to get where I want to be and I think this might be the time it soars
