I wish I would have done the same. It has been on a tear.

I didn’t like them as an exchange all that much anyway, and I hate that move. Im probably going to move everything to cold storage and use a different fiat on-ramp.

Honestly want to grab monero just out of spite more than anything

No one here likes Cosmos? Interoperability is vital for crypto/blockchains and future mass adoption.

Not sure who will be king dot, ava, link etc but Cosmos's ecosystem is rapidly expanding and is a top 10 coin imo.

“I lost my cold storage, I’m really beaten up about it”

“Lost my recovery phrase too, I hope someone doesn’t one day transfer tokens without my consent”

I don’t think they’ve the manpower to fight this battle and win anything more than a few token scalps.

I figured it would be more of a slow rollout, they have to test their own product. Search cardano ecosystem and theres pretty extensive maps
Ergodex is a leader imo as they are also their own blockchain. Sundae swap has the hype staking pools should go in october which will give both ADA and sundae. Same with XRAY I've got a good amount of free X-Ray now in yorai wallet. Also staking smaller amount in minswap pools. ADAX I would avoid

I think the problem will be pushing crypto capital out of the US over time. They'll keep incrementally making it harder and harder on crypto users, exchanges and businesses as the only means available to combat it.

Anybody use FTX? If I deposit into it and purchase Crypto is there a hold on funds until I can transfer Crypto? I know CB Pro holds for 5 days.

gensler seems to not be as great for this space as I had hoped

he seems to be a Bitcoin maxi so if that is your view it might play out well but I'd rather the crypto paternalism he seems to be advocating not become the future reality

I also wonder if people will even care if some cryptos get labelled as "securities"

He's definitely thinking Bitcoin is a commodity, everything else is a security

He's playing favorites and not providing the regulatory clarity we thought he'd provide. He's a liability right now.

On an unrelated note, Nicehash mining profitability is really low right now.

I am already living uncomfortably dangerous trying to rationally scalp SOL between $155 and $160 for the last five days. I don’t think I can handle Radix swings logically or unemotionally.

Well. I use CB to onramp fiat, and I send most of the crypto to my wallets.. so they going to know of my wallet addresses of they hunt me down.

It really doesn't need to be said, but I'll say it anyway - if you use US exchanges, especially Coinbase, the government/IRS knows exactly what offline or off exchange wallets you own and can easily map out transfers and gains with on chain tracking tech. Pay your taxes

Yea but that doesn’t mean I have to love the surveillance state.

Absolutely. I have my portfolio attached to both Accointing and Koinly so I can more easily keep track of all of my transactions

Definitely, I fricking hate it. But people buying on Coinbase, Gemini, etc, sending their shite to to swap sites and then back to the exchanges to off ramp think they are hiding their stuff well enough to skirt by without paying taxes and they aren't.
