If Bitcoin does truly fulfill its role as digital gold that simply keeps its value, it will eventually have to stabilize and track simply with the debasement of whatever you are valuing it with. You will then be able to judge the value of an investment by how it performs relative to Bitcoin, the best metric of absolute value.
Put another way, if you have an altcoin that isn't outperforming Bitcoin, why even bother with the investment at all? Just throw it in BTC.

The recent trip to 29.5k has made me extremely numb to the roller coaster.
We are going to likely crash hard but then eventually it will bounce back harder.

I’m practicing hodl with my SOL and trusting it’ll make its rise back soon enough. Yea, coins that I’m trying to hold long I’m just practicing my patience and not selling. It’s a process for me lol

I want it to dip further. I’ve been sitting on a small pile of cash that I’ve saved the last month for if the trip back to 50k was a fakeout and we go back to the lower 30s. I want to unleash the hounds.
