I don't know why anyone would stake ETH at the moment, especially on coinbase. It's a terrible deal, imo. If you use coinbase, it's locked up until (if?) 2.0 rolls out and the rewards are less than other platforms that pay interest while still keeping your ETH liquid. Even at a staked 6% rate, I'd much rather keep ETH on a platform that pays 5.25% unstaked interest just in case I need to do something with my ETH.

It's been known for over a year that 2.0 was not coming out this summer, so that shouldn't be affecting recent prices. Maybe you're confusing the London Fork with 2.0? The London Fork contains EIP-1559. EIP-1559 is now live on a test net and still expected on the main net in July. POW to POS still being advertised as late 2021/early 2022. Sharding in late 2022.

Multitude of things, imo. BTC dominance trying to claw back up, and I believe it also has to do with layer 2s. Over time ETH will grow a symbiotic relationship with the layer 2s and sidechains, but right now retail investors (and probably whales too tbh) are leaving for chains that don't eat their lunch on gas for defi.
Right now on Polygon it costs fractions of a penny to transact. That means I can compound my yield farms twice a day and pay less than one cent to do so, or autocompoinding can happen every minute on some platforms and it still makes sense. Yields are crazy. I have 1000 USDC staked on Augury.finance and I earn ~$5/day on that. It's nuts. There's a 4% deposit fee and that'll be pad back in 8 days. And that's if I just sell off the farm token and don't stake it and compound it. I can take that farm token and stake that for ~500% returns in that pool.

I'm merely questioning your opinion that the 2.0 delay is having an effect on today's price. The delay has been priced in for a while now. I, too, don't trust the current 2.0 date.

EIP 1559 was due out in July. I've not seen anywhere (credible at least) that 2.0 would be out before 2022.
