I had a friendly wager with rocket about BTC going through another 60% crash. $26k or so would be that level. I should have listened to my own damned self.

Isn't 20 the historical theoretical bottom? Previous cycle all the time.

If you believe in the technology long term, why wouldn't you be excited by the current situation?

If you are only a trader, why wouldn't you be excited by the current situation?

I smell opportunity. I don't know the exact bottom, but much like equities where I let VIX insure, time and recapitalize, I do the same with BTC, using bitvol, or protective puts. It's not quite as refined, and it's more expensive in the crypto sector, but it works.

I believe historically the previous cycle ATH provides the bottom for the next cycle’s crash

we def shouldn't go as low as the last crash.

I also think this bear market will be shorter.

600 integrations and counting. Connections with World Economic Forum and SWIFT. Decentralized oracles run DeFI . Waiting on staking but when it comes supply will dry up. When the dust settles it will be a top 5 crypto

I am still in the camp that this run isn’t over yet for the year. On the Wyckoff chart We are hitting that last drop before the spring upwards

I was going to buy at $20, then decided to wait until $18, now waiting on $15. Hell, I may not buy at all.

I’m way behind the times here but it’s not expected to be a quick resurgence, is it?

I agree, going to be* short. Hell, it could be over. I woke up thinking we’d see a total bloodbath after last night failed bounce. Just marginally off those levels and clawing back. Not worth buying more yet.

Only way there is a rebound is if btc retakes 31k and holds 31k for 4-6 hours.

Every second btc spends under 31k makes that less likely.

Problem is there are two historical precedents at odds with one another;

75% drop from ATH for btc

Or

Never falling below previous cycle ATH

75% of this cycles ATH is 15-19k.

One way or the other we will be in uncharted territory

my “this time is different” theory looks wrong AF

It doesn’t help that this thread is just a big echo chamber of bullishness. There were plenty of signs warning a major top was made the last few months and a big drop was likely coming. But threads like these just reinforce peoples natural confirmation bias.

Not yet, but probably fair to begin dca soon. Hopefully some of you didn’t actually accumulate too much in that 32-38 range.

There were suggestions here in this thread at 50 to 55k btc to consider stable coins. Most remain bullish on the macro level.
