Alts continue to rise while btc sideways.

Exact same 2018 book.

There are going to be people holding some heavy bags in a couple months unless btc does something.

So you're anticipating a big alt crash if BTC stays stagnant or drops?

I don't have much exposure in the crypto world so even an all out crash won't mean much. I'm wondering if there might be a great alt buying opportunity in a couple months though.

I am yes. Things could always be different but I am fully anticipating a sub 1T crypto market cap in 3-4 months unless BTC does the 100k thing people keep saying is still possible

Maybe, but the trends and charts from 2016-2020 are absolutely worthless if you are trying to forecast anything.

They are more valuable than the charts from 2012-2016

Its not going to matter what your money is in if btc doesn’t quit going sideways.

ETH pumps when BTC goes sideways.

Btc sideways equals alt movement. Need btc dominance down so alts can run.

BTC consolidation is awesome for the rest of the market. Then it decides it’s time to go up everything loses btc value then pumps later

That’s what they’re doing now.

There won’t be another bull run unless btc refuels the market with a big run.

Tiguar is 100% correct here. I don’t care what happened in previous runs, this one is different in many many ways, and has proven time and time again that BTC is still king (for the time being). The market can’t sustain a long run without it.... Yet

And who really knows, the big boys could be playing us all like a fiddle. Dragging down BTC purposely to get in at a bargain, mainly because most of the larger players were/are late to the party.

There's also something to do with how crypto is defined in state commercial code or something like that.
