There's always something running. Matic is today. I don't really understand it, so I'd just trade it if I was to mess with it.
I get paid 6% to stake some coins, mostly Algogrand. I'm comfortable with this. I don't understand how to keep chasing income by changing exchanges, and get 12% like others are. And frankly, I'm not comfortable with exchanges that aren't insured against cyber and crime.
I own ADA and I just watch it. Long term I'll probably sell 1/2 of it if it gets to $3.00. I'm comfortable with this. I'll let the rest ride.
Early on I bought OXT. I didn't understand it when I bought it. I still don't. I should have never done this. When it is anywhere above breakeven, I'm gone. I also relearned a valuable lesson. Trading is trading, and investing is investing. Buying OXT and hoping it goes up isn't either of these, and I was stupid to do this.
The only questions I have about my long term holds, which are BTC and ETH, is when to buy more, when to sell covered calls, and when to place protective puts.
So I follow all of this fairly closely, and it isn't even approaching the time some on here must put into this. I guess my point is, I don't get too excited about my long term holds. I do what I'm comfortable with. And I don't get caught up in Elon Musk's drama, or any drama or stress over any of this. So really the only thing I need to do is make sure I follow this closely enough to know how and when "they" will pick the eventual winners. For now I'd guess that to be BTC and ETH. The rest is really not important.

no one knows. i would anticipate a lot of people trying to front-run the anticipated dip buy selling before others do
this cycle could be completely different though

Harmony - ONE is running today. It seems undervalued at 0.16-0.18 compared to many other cryptos with everything Harmony has got going on with it.

Thisbis how you know it isn’t. When everyone is SURE BTC is going to $350k any day now, that’s when it’s the end.
Funny because I made one post about the waters seeming murky and it was followed by several pages of hyperbullish incredulity to my view

Anyone hold any Bitcoin Cash (BCH)?

Have any of y'all messed with the kucoin trading bot? I'm looking to set up something like buying x amount if the price hits 15% below the 3 day average.

The bot for dollar cost average is cool. The grid trading bot just makes or loses money with the float of the coin. If the grid bot is in the green just shut it down.

Yeah, but I think at some point it will come crashing down if nobody actually uses it to buy things. I think it'll be a while but still..

Geez. I signed up with Bittrix to buy some shitecoins that aren't available on Coinbase Pro and two cards were flagged and declined when I tried to make a deposit.
I thought they were legit and based out of Seattle?

WTF is going on with Numeraire? Up 70% in just under 40 mins.
And 2.) Does MATIC seem to have as much long term potential as ADA?
If you guys had 13K at the moment, what would be your top 4 to divi it into?
No trigger pulls yet, but I feel like...
1.) ADA
2.) LINK
3.) MATIC
4.) ALGO(I’ve had a soft spot since the beginning.
And just been lurking on here since February. Always a wealth of information and I very much appreciate it!

When the 1st round of Stimulus came in 2020, I picked up $1500 and haven’t touched it.
It’s been pretty good to me.

Why did NMR just shoot up 60% in an hour? I had no clue what this was, so I googled...
Musk?

Question for you
You've mentioned you're mostly in stablecoins right now. Is that in anticipation of an incoming bear market, or did you just get out of positions as soon as the market started this recent downturn with Musk being Musk?
Even with all of this volatility the last week, I'm still up pretty big on my altcoin positions and considering taking profits and holding them in stablecoins. I went in with the goal of long-term holding, but if I can take money now and get back in during a bear market later, seems like I'll be better off for it (assuming these alts don't blast off again until next bull cycle).

yea i converted 70% of my wallets into stables after the musk tweet. i dont think the bear market is here but id like to see a positive catalyst before jumping back in 100% and the fact that musk can move the market so much when i feel hes unhinged concerns me.
of the 30% im still holding, its less bitcoin and more alts (ETH, BNB, SOL, XLM, DOGE)
btw nexo is great for moving into stable coins quickly while blockfi does not allow Louisiana residents to do so for some reason. celsius does not either

BTC testing lower support again around 47k
Posted on 5/16/21 at 12:08 pm to rocket31
1m graph looks pretty bad for btc.
It looks like 46k is critical support. If it closes below that... oof

Whole market sucks today. At least my portfolio has taken a beating.

Thanks. That's what I figured, but you've been around crypto for a long time and wanted to understand what you're doing.
I'm waffling on taking profits. Being greedy has burned me a couple times but I think the market will come back from this current dip and I can take more profit.

Yeah, SOL (my #3 hodling) swam upstream to ATH this morning but has since been washed away with everything else
