On the one hand I’ve made a 1000% profit if I sell it, seems great

See this is one of many reasons ill never get rich on crypto. I cant not take profits at 1000% gain. Major mental block for me. I cant pass that up.

Just if I was to look at ETH VS Link in the long run, it would make more since that once ETH 2.0 hits it outperforms Link.

Guess we’ll see. My money is on Link

All green! We ridin again!!!

I'm really upset that I didn't put my side investment money into this stuff years ago. I feel like I missed the real party and just showed up for the lame arse 2nd attempt to duplicate the first party.

Do you envision link becoming it's own blockchain?

Because Link is about to make a similar parabolic move that Eth made in 2017

Yea but I have so little invested in it, my 1000% profit isn’t even $10k so I don’t feel as pressured to sell

Oh ok, so other than the decentralized nature it's pretty much the same as using a centralized oracle?

I mean if you believe in something then you are more inclined to hold for life changing gains. No one is making that on Doge or these flavor of the week coins.

Must be something special about it to get over 500 projects to integrate it.

Might be a good time to get some BNB before they burn this massive amount of coin

Binance to burn BNB worth $37 billion from 2017 ICO

I’ve really failed this bull run in any new investments I’ve thrown money at. Only thing I’ve made a little on is BNT. Bailed on Amp and File way too early and bought a bag of eXRD that hasn’t done jack. Other crap investments were in Dip , DSLA, and something called GainsFarm

well cant say i didnt give you some good things to invest in back in january with the calls on grt, ada, dot, atom, unfi, zrx etc.

Given you plenty of winners with almost everyone of them doing atleast 3x since i made the call. I mentioned KCS and so did others back when it was well under $5. Hell it was talked about at length after the BNB blow up.

Rocket preached BNB over and over when it was sub $300 and everyone was calling it as a pump and dump.

plenty of people called iota.

No offense, but you have been given plenty of good advice on coins that were going to go parabolic. Sometimes you are too stuck on link to see the forest through the trees.

if you want a long term swappy coin... medibloc, DPR, & GLCH.

quote:

Chainlink is a decentralized oracle network that is poised to play an important role in the real-world implementation of blockchain technologies. The purpose of this network is to provide input on a variety of external sources of data. Although blockchain is great at what it does — providing a decentralized, secure ledger for digital transactions — it isn’t so great at taking input for things happening outside the blockchain. There are many “off-chain” forces that influence markets, including fiat currencies, credit cards and even the weather and sports scores. As a decentralized oracle, Chainlink can provide input to what’s known as smart contracts.

This is the gist of it but when you add in Threshold Signatures, Offchain Reporting, Verifiable Randomness, Trusted Execution Environments, Dynamic NFTs... it becomes so much more than just an oracle providing price feeds
